The Englishman ended a six-year wait for his fifth DP World Tour title on Sunday at Crans-sur-Sierre GC and has now earned enough points on the Race to Dubai Rankings in Partnership with Rolex to secure his spot in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, which will welcome the top 70 available players from the season-long rankings.

Wallace joins the likes of Rory McIlroy, Robert MacIntyre, Tommy Fleetwood, Adam Scott, Justin Rose, Thriston Lawrence and Niklas Nørgaard at the DP World Tour Play-Offs, which concludes with the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.

His victory in the mountains came a week after he finished eighth in the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo at The Belfry, in the opening event of the Back 9.

Wallace climbed 95 spots on the Race to Dubai Rankings to sit 22nd, and now has 1,117.75 points from his six starts this campaign.

The Omega European Masters marked the second event of the Back 9, where there are increased Race to Dubai points on offer, with 5,000 available in each regular event – up from 3,000 during the Global Swings phase. 8,000 Rankings points will be on offer at the BMW PGA Championship as the third Rolex Series Event of the year.

Players can qualify for the DP World Tour Play-Offs throughout the Back 9, as they earn enough points to guarantee their position in the top 70.
