Sharpstene leads 25 players through First Stage in Denmark

DP World Tour First Stage Qualifying School concluded this week at Horsens GC in Denmark, with 25 players making it through to Second Stage later this year.

On a rain affected week, the tournament was reduced to 54 holes with American Matt Sharpstene securing a two stroke victory following rounds of 66-68-64.

Sharpstene’s 12 under par total saw him triumph by two from Englishman Robert Dinwiddie and Vince van Veen from the Netherlands.
