Japan’s Takumi Kanaya triumphed in the DP World Tour’s First Stage Qualifying School at Mottram Hall.
The 24-year-old carded rounds of 71-69-66-67 to finish on 15 under par, two-shots ahead of American Nicholas Infanti and Australia’s Elvis Smylie who share second on 13 under.
19 players in total qualified for the Second Stage of DP World Tour Qualifying School which will be played across four venues in Spain from November 3-6.
