England’s William Harrold came out on top in the DP World Tour’s First Stage Qualifying School at Golf d'Hardelot.
The 34-year-old carded rounds of 68-68-68-69 to finish on 11 under par, one-shot ahead of Scottish duo Craig Ross and Jack McDonald, American Jimmy Beck, Dutchman Philip Bootsma and France’s Alexandre Petit who shared second place on ten under.
Harrold secured a maiden European Challenge Tour victory at the 2014 Belgian Challenge Open and he is now looking to re-kindle that kind of form to earn DP World Tour playing rights for 2023.
24 players in total qualified for the Second Stage of DP World Tour Qualifying School which will be played across four venues in Spain from November 3-6.
