Norway’s Jarand Ekeland Arnoy was victorious in the DP World Tour Qualifying School 1st Stage at Lyngbygaard Golf.
The 25-year old shot a sublime second round 63 and maintained his consistent play with sub-70 rounds after carrying him to a closing score of 18-under par, good enough for a three shot win over Danish pair, Peter Launer Baek and Christoffer Bring.
Arnoy has featured 12 times on the Challenge Tour this year, making the cut in half of his starts, including two top ten finishes, at the Emporadá Challenge and Fredrikshavn Challenge. The Norwegian will be looking to lean on this experience at November’s second stage events in Spain.
21 players in total progressed to the next stage, maintaining their hopes of claiming a sought-after DP World Tour card for the 2023 season.
