Race to Dubai leader Justin Rose recorded another top-ten finish as Tiger Woods equalled Jack Nicklaus total of 73 US PGA Tour wins at the Memorial Tournament.
Former World Number One Woods closed with a 67 to draw level in second place with Nicklaus on the list of players with most US PGA Tour wins, nine behind Sam Snead.
The achievement was all remarkable given Nicklaus is the tournament host at Muirfield Village.
Woods’ nine under par total was two better than leading European Tour Member Andres Romero and South African Rory Sabbatini.
Rose finished eighth after a 69, one ahead of compatriot Greg Owen.
There was also a strong finish for World Number One Luke Donald, whose 68 took him up 24 places to 12th.
