With this win: Robert MacIntyre's victory at the Genesis Scottish Open

Home hero Robert MacIntyre earned his first Rolex Series victory in front of home fans with a birdie at the last to win the Genesis Scottish Open.

•This is his third DP World Tour victory in his 123rd appearance, following the 2020 Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Showdown and 2022 DS Automobiles Italian Open

• With victory, MacIntyre becomes only the second Scot to win the Genesis Scottish Open, following Colin Montgomerie in 1999

• Victory comes in his sixth appearance at the Genesis Scottish Open. His previous best result was runner up behind Rory McIlroy last season

• This is MacIntyre's second PGA TOUR victory, following his triumph at the 2024 RBC Canadian Open in June

• This is also his first Rolex Series title, with his best previous result that runner up finish at Renaissance Club in 2023. His best previous result on the Race to Dubai this season was T8 at the US PGA Champion-ship

• He moves into third place in the Race to Dubai Rankings in Partnership with Rolex with 1571.8 points, up from 112th

• He moves to a career-high of 16th in the Official World Golf Ranking, up from 44th. His highest previous ranking was 39th in June 2024

• His win is the second victory by a Scottish player on the DP World Tour this season, following Ewen Ferguson's at the BMW International Open.

• It is the first time Scottish players have won on consecutive weeks on the DP World Tour since Grant Forrest (Hero Open) and Calum Hill (Cazoo Classic) in August 2021

• His win is the 148th victory by a Scotsman on the DP World Tour
