•Moves to 63rd on the Race to Dubai Rankings presented by Rolex on 447,330 points, up from 192nd
•Moves into the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking for the first time in his career, to as high as 81st from 275th
•The tenth English win at the Porsche European Open, and the second successively. The ninth separate winner of the event from England following Jordan Smith (2017), Ross Fisher (2008), Kenneth Ferrie (2005), Lee Westwood (2000 and 1999), David Gilford (1994), Nick Faldo (1992), Andrew Murray (1989) and Paul Way (1987)
•The second successive player to make the Porsche European Open the first win of his career, Smith having also done so last year
•The sixth English victory on the 2018 European Tour schedule, following Chris Paisley (BMW SA Open hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni), Tommy Fleetwood (Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship presented by EGA), Eddie Pepperell (Commercial Bank Qatar Masters) and Matt Wallace’s wins at the Hero Indian Open and BMW International Open
•Both winners of the two German events on the 2018 European Tour are English, following Wallace’s win at the BMW International Open last month
•The 325th European Tour win for a player from England
•The 443rd victory from a former Challenge Tour player on the European Tour
