• His third European Tour International Schedule victory in his 306th European Tour event.

• Moves to €1,705,544 in The Race to Dubai.

• Could move into the top 25 of the Official World Golf Ranking from 29th.

• His first victory since the 2013 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.

• This victory beats his previous best 2014 performances of tied second in the Nedbank Golf Challenge and WGC – Cadillac Championship.

• His third consecutive European Tour season with a victory.

• Had to wait until his 255th European Tour event for his first victory at the 2012 Irish Open. Only had to wait another 13 tournaments to record his second at the 2013 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship and a further 38 for this third, here at the 2014 D+ D Real Czech Masters.

• Victory in the Czech Republic is the third different European Tour destination he has won in, following Northern Ireland and Abu Dhabi.

• Victory secures his place in The 2014 European Ryder Cup Team. His total in The European Ryder Cup Points Table goes to 2,676,347. (Goes go 194.51 in The Ryder Cup World Points List).

• The second of his three European Tour titles where he has comeback from two shots going into the final round. Was two adrift of Justin Rose after 54 holes of the 2013 Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.

• The second of his three European Tour titles where he has made up a final round deficit to win. Two in Abu Dhabi and two in the 2014 D+D Real Czech Masters. (Led going into the final round to win his maiden title, the 2012 Irish Open).

• The 20th winner this season to make up a final round deficit.

OTHER FACTS

• The 47th Welsh victory on The European Tour.

• Moves into joint-second in the list of most Welsh victories on The European Tour with three. He joins Stephen Dodd and Phillip Price on that mark.

• To highlight his wonderfully consistent 2014 European Tour season, this victory is his fifth top five finish from his 17 tournaments.

• Gains a place in the 2015 Volvo Golf Champions.

• Gains his seventh win of his professional career.

• Becomes the 17th European Tour win of the 2014 season by a former Challenge Tour player.
