WGC-HSBC Champions day three - What they said

Dustin Johnson moved to 17 under to open up a commanding six-shot lead heading into the final round of the WGC-HSBC Champions.

Here, we take a look at what the chasing pack had to say after round three.

Brooks Koepka (73, -11)

"I felt like I didn't make any putts. I felt like they were good putts but they just didn't go in. There were five holes that were just a disaster there from eight to 12 - nine was all right - but ten, to put that wedge shot in the bunker was pretty poor, especially when you've got so much room. Then 11, I missed a putt there. I gave up a lot of shots. The start was really good. The first seven holes I thought was pretty solid and the rest of it, very up-and-down. It was definitely windier today. I didn't think it was playing that difficult. Definitely should be able to shoot four under out here, minus a triple and whatever else I had, a lot of bogeys."

Henrik Stenson (69, -10)

"It's a tough day out there. It was blowing pretty hard. I think the forecast is for possibly stronger winds tomorrow, it was a good rehearsal for tomorrow's task then. I hit a lot of good shots out there. Got some things both technically and mentally that I'm working on and I think I did that very well today. I hit some really good ones and when I didn't I kept it in play and saved myself. It was nice to make that par putt up the last there and not finish with a bogey. We're in pretty good shape, even though it seems we're playing for second place. I've got a game-plan how to play my best or what I think is my best on this golf course and I'm going to stick to that. It's been working pretty good so far. But if Dustin keeps on playing the way that he's done this week, I think it's going to be a one-man show tomorrow. But you never know, tough winds, and this golf course has a couple of holes where you certainly can have a number. It's never over until it's over."

Justin Rose (72, -9)

"Wasn't good enough, is what it was, but it was tricky out there, wasn't an easy day. The difference between a low round and a poor round sometimes is the odd break here and there. I had a bit of a funny time around seven, eight and nine, kind of had some momentum go against me there. A couple of key moments in the round went against me but, all in all, DJ played great golf today and obviously stretched out a little too far ahead. He's going to wake up in good shape and go ahead and play a solid round of golf. If he does that, the tournament's over. Other than that, playing for second and barring something crazy from him. But that's always the thing, you play for second and see what happens."

Peter Uihlein (69, -8)

"It was solid. I didn't feel like I was overly stressed out. I kind of made a mess of nine for my only bogey and then made a nice par putt on 12. I didn't feel like I put myself in that many terrible positions where it was like an awesome up-and-down. So it was okay. It was tough, it's already a tough golf course but it made it tougher, the way the wind was blowing, it was definitely tricky. If it's this windy again, same thing. Just go out and try to execute shots and just try and be smart and not let things get away from me because it's that kind of golf course where there can be big numbers. It's that kind of track."
