WGC-HSBC Champions day four - What they said

Justin Rose fired a closing 67 to finish 14 under and win the WGC-HSBC Champions by two shots at Sheshan International Golf Club.

Henrik Stenson

Here, we take a look at what some of the rest of the field had to say after their final rounds.

Henrik Stenson (70, -12)

"I'm very happy with the week and the way I played in general. I came here looking for a bit of form and some answers and I think I got a lot of them. Still a work-in-progress. I wouldn't say I'm playing my best but I hit a lot of good shots and kept it together, tidy, in tough conditions both yesterday and today. The good stuff's really good and there's still a few things that we can improve on but, all in all, I'm very happy with the way I played. We came very close. We were right up in contention and that's where we want to be. It was a nice way to start this four-week trip and hopefully we can carry on this momentum into the next three weeks."

Dustin Johnson (77, -12)

"It was tough conditions today. Felt like I actually drove it pretty well, other than the drive on two, which I hit a good shot. I don't even know what happened, it just came up a little bit short. I thought I hit it perfect but still ended up making a good six. And even making the turn obviously, I'm two over, which is fine. I know I've got to just play solid on the back nine. I didn't make any putts, I felt like I rolled it good just nothing was going in the hole. Hit a couple of really bad iron shots, that was probably the key there on 14, I just chunked it. Same thing on 15, I just chunked it - that cost me two shots there. And then bogeying 16, that's just bad. So I just gave a few away but tough conditions. It is what it is."

Brooks Koepka (71, -12)

"It was tough. The wind was blowing pretty hard. Kind of righted the ship there in the middle and then that double, it's hard. The wind gusts sometimes in one direction and then it goes in another. A little bit of a disappointing way to finish but I guess it's all right. Fifteen, the wind gust,  it was blowing straight down for us and all of a sudden it came in off the right. That's why you saw Dustin and myself come up ten and 15 yards short. We were playing left of the pin a little bit and it would have been just fine if it didn't gust like that. Then obviously it plugged and when it was on the fringe it actually took a massive hop right off the putter face and didn't have any speed to it. Then obviously the four-footer was tricky enough. I thought the one on 16, I felt like I actually hit a really good putt, it just didn't go in. Then 18, it's hard to get there with that wind and actually have a good chance. I hit a good three wood in there. I made a decent birdie. A little disappointed with the way I played over the last two days but that's fine."
