, Europe’s largest mutual life assurance company, is delighted to yet again be the title sponsor of this year’s Standard Life Loch Lomond Tournament.
Standard Life's support of this tournament continues to enhance the event. Prize money has been increased, taking it in to the elite group of PGA European Tour tournaments offering Euro 1.4 million in prize money.
Standard Life will again pay a $1 million bonus to the winner of the Standard Life Loch Lomond tournament, if he goes on to win the 128th Open Golf Championship at Carnoustie the following weekend.
Standard Life Bank
will double its hole-in-one prize to $200,000, of which $100,000 will be donated to Live175, the charity appeal launched by Standard Life to mark its 175th anniversary. As with last year, the hole-in-one prize will apply on the 205 yard 17th hole on the final day only.
