Week passes sell out for Made in Denmark

The inaugural Made in Denmark is capturing the imagination of the country’s golf fans, with all 15,000 available week passes for the event now sold.

It is expected that more than 70,000 spectators will visit Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort from August 14-17 as The European Tour returns to Denmark for the first time in more than a decade.

Promoter Flemming Astrup said he was delighted with the response so far, with European Tour winners such as home favourite Thomas Bjørn and Ryder Cup stars Nicolas Colsaerts, David Howell, Ross Fisher and Paul Lawrie included in the field.

“It is wonderful to have so much support from the public,” he said. “We have dreamed of selling all the week tickets, and to do so a whole fortnight before the tournament is truly fantastic.”

It is still possible to buy daily tickets and VIP tickets for the event, but there is only a limited number remaining for Sunday’s final round.
