Halfway leader Matt Wallace extended his advantage to three shots after making a lightning-quick start to his third round at the Betfred British Masters.
Wallace began day three with a narrow one stroke lead but opened his round with three straight birdies to jump to 15 under par.
And he safely parred his next six holes to head to the turn three clear of nearest challenger Marcus Kinhult, who made two birdies in his first nine holes.
Englishman Ross Fisher was a stroke further back in third on 11 under, one ahead of the group containing tournament host Tommy Fleetwood.
Four time European Tour winner Wallace showed he meant business with his very first shot on Saturday, with his huge drive paving the way for an opening birdie from 20 feet.
The 29-year-old picked up another shot at the long second before making it three in a row with an eight foot birdie putt at the third to get to 15 under.
After rolling in his close range par putt at the fourth to stay bogey-free for the week, Wallace reached the green in two at the par five fifth but he had to settle for a par after requiring three putts.
The Englishman got into tree trouble off the sixth tee but produced a sensational par save from around 18 feet to keep his card clean.
As the wind began to pick up, Wallace parred his way to the turn to stay three shots clear of the chasing pack with nine holes remaining.
