UBS Hong Kong Open day two - What they said

SSP Chawrasia fired a second-round 66 to get to nine under and take a two-shot lead into the weekend at the UBS Hong Kong Open.

Here, we take a look at what some of the chasing pack had to say after their second rounds.

Thomas Aiken (64, -7)

"That was a little better, it was a fun round of golf. Just went out there with the same game plan as yesterday, hit some good quality shots and really didn't make many mistakes - that was the key. There's a lot of golf left, we're only halfway there. Just keep doing what I'm doing and hopefully the putts keep going in and make a few extra ones and hopefully at the top of the leaderboard by Sunday afternoon. It's always nice to go bogey-free, especially on a golf course as friendly as this one."

Alexander Björk (66, -5)

"I'm very pleased with the way I played today, it was solid all day. Good iron shots, good putting. Overall, good round. Very tough and the wind going all over the place sometimes. I'm very happy with the way I played today and the position I have. I was a little disappointed after yesterday's round because I had a good one going but I'm happy today and good to be in a nice position. I know that I can be out competing with the best guys in the world when I play good. You get more comfortable the more you play on Tour and the more you play with all the other guys, you see what you need to do. I feel like I have the game to do it which is very nice to feel."

Julian Suri (67, -5)

"It was good. I really flushed it to the green all day, I really only felt like I missed a couple of shots and they weren't by much when I did. I gave myself a million chances. Didn't quite make many putts but to finish bogey-free, especially getting up and down on 18, was very nice. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing. I feel like I'm swinging it great, I've been swinging it great for a little while. I just have to stay patient on the greens. Like I said, I gave myself a lot of chances inside 12 feet and didn't quite capitalise. A couple of those to drop would be nice."

Joakim Lagergren (66, -5)

"It was good. It's nice to be back out here this season and start fresh and play good directly. It is a little bit rusty so I'm not hitting the ball great but getting around somehow with a good score."

Poom Saksansin (68, -5)

"I feel good because I hit very good drives these two days and good irons, good putting. Just some mistakes with green reading and some irons, too. I'm still nervous when I first tee-off, I just have a good drive."
