Turkish Airlines Open day four - What they said

Justin Rose produced a big finish for the second week in a row to get to 18 under and win the Turkish Airlines Open.

Nicolas Colsaerts

Here we take a look at what those that ran him close had to say after their closing rounds.

Nicolas Colsaerts (66, -17)

"The juices were flowing. It was great to be able to push it until the end. I was surprised that none of the other guys were making such a push, where I was only two under after 11, 12 holes and still within reaching distance. Obviously the finish was great. It's been a while to be able to almost close it and in such a fashion. I guess there's a lot of positives to take out of it. It's great for the confidence of course. I'm going to play those last two events, trying to squeeze out of these tournaments as much as I can. It's great to play well in big events and I can't wait for these next two weeks. I could have easily let yesterday's round take too big a proportion. So it wasn't really like I was firing on all cylinders until the last couple holes. It was a test of patience, actually. Made sure that I was still there and it's too bad the little one on 18 doesn't drop but that's the sport."

Dylan Frittelli (64, -17)

"I had two chip-ins yesterday. I don't know, something's clicking right in my short game. I felt really confident over all of those chips. I'm glad they got me in contention today and seemed to play pretty well under pressure. I was really looking at the last three events to try and peek inside the top 30 in the rankings. Not sure where this will put me now but definitely inside that top 30 and looking at two more big events that could push my way into the top 10 hopefully. Great performance on the front nine that got me into contention and played pretty well through the back nine. Although a few putts slipped by I'm still proud of the way I finished. I played with Justin yesterday and he played amazing golf. For me it was wonderful to be out there with him. Strikes it really well. Great guy, chatted between shots. It was so much fun being out there. He's a worthy winner. Yesterday he played the socks off of me so congrats to him. I took two weeks off before this. I played pretty well this week. It seems to be a good friend for me to take some time off and keep it rolling to South Africa and hopefully to Dubai and play well next week in front of the home crowd."

Padraig Harrington (67, -16)

"I'm very happy leaving. I know I didn't win the tournament but Justin obviously clearly went ahead and won it. I didn't lose it. I made it quite exciting at times out there but I was happy with what I saw in myself. There was a lot of good things. I hit it off the tee so much better this week. Iron play wasn't as good as it could have been but short game was sharp. So I'm very happy with where I'm at, very positive signs for me. I make eagle and I think I'm going to be pretty good. I get to the 16th green and I'm still one behind. So the boys, fair play to the three guys ahead of me, they performed over those last holes. There's no gimmies once you get to 16, 17, 18, they are all good holes. They went forward, which is very impressive in themselves. I don't feel bad about coming home with an eagle and pars for my last few holes but they were just better players today. For a lot of the day I thought it was going to be my day. I think the guys just played better at the end of the day. I don't have any real regrets."

Thorbjørn Olesen (66, -15)

"I actually felt like I had a chance today, definitely. During that middle part of the round I played very nicely, gave myself so many chances, they didn't drop in at the right time. And then on the back nine, the last few holes, I started hitting a couple of poor shots because I got annoyed by myself. I felt like I had a chance, so still a good week. I felt like I played better and better each day. Obviously I wanted to keep going. It's been a great week, feel like I've been playing some good golf. Hopefully I can finish strong and see if I can get that victory I haven't got this year."
