Tommy Fleetwood, Viktor Hovland and Andy Sullivan shared the lead at the BMW PGA Championship after a sombre first day at Wentworth Club.

In his first start since The 150th Open, Fleetwood picked up shots at the second and the fourth before a strong finish on the back nine. He birdied six of his final seven holes, the pick of the bunch a 26-foot putt dropping at the 16th.
Hovland, a Rolex Series winner this season in Dubai, went birdie-birdie-eagle from the 16th - holing from 17 feet, 10 feet and then capping it off with a 27-footer in front of the grandstand on the final hole.
Sullivan recovered from an opening bogey to turn a couple under and then managed six birdies on the way in - including a 34-footer at the 17th which saw him join Fleetwood at eight under.
The four-time DP World Tour winner set up a birdie putt opportunity from six feet at the 18th but missed the chance to take the outright lead.
