The iconic event will be one of two Swiss tournaments taking place for the 16th consecutive season, when the action gets under way at Club de Genève from August 21-24.

The 29th edition of the highly sought-after prize will once again be contested at Golf Club de Genève, which is surrounded by the picturesque backdrop of the Alps.

After first appearing at Golf Club de Genève in 1991, the Rolex Trophy has become an integral part of the Challenge Tour. It welcomes the top 39 ranked players, plus one invite, to the famous event where each professional joins three amateurs in the four-day Pro-Am contest.

Two-time Rolex Series champion and 2018 Ryder Cup winner Alex Noren, who won the title in 2006 en route to European Tour graduation, is one of several notable stars to have won the Genevan tournament. Each of the last five winners have gained their European Tour playing rights at the end of the season with Kim Koivu continuing the trend in 2018, as he clinched his third win of a sensational campaign.
