A limited number of early bird tickets for the 2024 Horizon Irish Open are on general sale, with fans now able to secure their place at Royal County Down for what promises to be another exciting edition of the island of Ireland’s national open. Tickets are now available on a first come first served basis at ETG.GOLF/HIOGA.

The Horizon Irish Open returns to Royal County Down for the first time since 2015, when Denmark’s Søren Kjeldsen defeated Eddie Pepperell and Bernd Wiesberger in a play-off to win the most recent of his four DP World Tour titles.

The tournament also marks the fourth time the popular event will have been played in Northern Ireland in the last ten years, and fans are encouraged to buy tickets in advance to see a star-studded field tee it up as excitement builds towards the end of the 2024 Race to Dubai.

Last month, Vincent Norrman claimed the historic title in front of a sold-out Sunday crowd at The K Club as he held off the challenge of a number of DP World Tour stars, including Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Ryan Fox and Min Woo Lee.

General Admission tickets were sold out for Saturday’s play and all Hospitality and Ticket+ options across the week also sold out well in advance of the tournament.

In addition to the golf, entertainment was provided in the Championship Village by English chart-toppers Scouting for Girls and Galway rock band The Stunning. The bands performed on Saturday and Sunday respectively after the final putts dropped on those days.

Paul Gillmon, Horizon Irish Open Championship Director, said: “This year’s Horizon Irish Open had a true festival feel with world-class entertainment on and off the golf course and we are very excited to bring this experience to Royal County Down next year. We can’t wait to see the crowds flocking in once again for the island of Ireland’s national open.”

A quarter of a million Euros was also raised for the Horizon Irish Open’s Official Charity Make-A-Wish Ireland in 2023, and the organisation, which grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses, will remain as the event’s Official Charity Partner for the next four years.

General Admission tickets for the 2024 Horizon Irish Open can be purchased at ETG.GOLF/HIOGA, and for Ticket+ options, visit ETG.GOLF/HIOPLUS.
