The European Challenge Tour returns to the Czech Republic this week for the Kaskáda Golf Challenge. Here are our Three to Watch at Kaskáda Golf Resort…
Kristof Ulenaers
Kristof Ulenaers burst onto the scene during the Spanish Swing in sensational style. The 22-year-old shook the golfing world as he exhibited a remarkable display of frontrunning to triumph in wire-to-wire fashion at the Challenge de Cádiz on his professional debut. The Belgian showed no signs of fatigue with a tie for fifth place at the Challenge de España and sits in tenth place on the Road to Mallorca Rankings despite only playing two events. The Challenge de Cádiz champion will be looking to continue his phenomenal start to his professional Challenge Tour career and claim victory at the Kaskáda Golf Challenge this week.
Daniel Gavins
Daniel Gavins has been in fantastic form this season with five top 20 finishes in eight Challenge Tour appearances. The Englishman finished in a tie for seventh at the Bain’s Whisky Cape Town Open and a tie for tenth at the Dormy Open before a tie for sixth at the Challenge de Cádiz. Gavins also produced a solid showing at last week’s BMW International Open on the European Tour where he finished six under par in a tie for 42nd. The Englishman currently sits in 26th place on the Road to Mallorca Rankings and he will be looking to take his impressive form into the Kaskáda Golf Challenge to climb into the top 20 and pick up his maiden Challenge Tour trophy.
Niklas Regner
Niklas Regner has had a fine start to his Challenge Tour career and currently sits in 37th place on the Road to Mallorca Rankings. The Austrian finished in a tie for ninth at the Challenge de España followed by a tie for fourth at the Open de Bretagne and has played his last eleven rounds under par. The 22-year-old finished in a tie for 29th at the D+D REAL Czech Challenge and he will be looking for another strong performance in the Czech Republic with the goal of securing a place on the European Tour for next season.
