Sergio Garcia won his first Major Championship at the Masters Tournament as he defeated Justin Rose in a play-off but a host of big names were chasing to get in the mix on Sunday afternoon.
Here, we take a look at what some of them they had to say after their final rounds.
Charl Schwartzel (68, -6)
"It's a great week. I really thought towards the end there, especially standing on the 14th fairway, if I could make another few birdies I would have had a really good chance. It's hard to come back from way behind. The first two days was very difficult and on the weekend it was very good weather and I took advantage of that and played really well."
Rory McIlroy (69, -3)
"I feel encouraged if nothing else. I feel comfortable on the golf course, like every time I tee up I've got a chance to win. I've had four top tens in a row here. Top tens isn't what I'm looking for but, at the same time, the ups and downs I've had here in the past don't seem to be quite so up and quite so down, it seems a little more steady and that can only bode well for the future."
Martin Kaymer (68, level par)
"I finally putted well. The last two or three years I knew I could play the golf course the way it was supposed to be played, especially the holes where you need to draw it. I can take a three wood which is almost as long as my drive. So playing-wise was never a problem, it was just my putting. It's been very good the last three days. Yesterday I just didn't give myself enough chances but Friday and Sunday was very good. If you put those things together playing the course and putting the way I did, it was a huge week for me in terms of the future."
