The history of the Turkish Airlines Challenge

The Turkish Airlines Challenge makes its sixth appearance on the Challenge Tour International Schedule, taking place at a new location for the third time. Welshman Oliver Farr won the maiden title at National Golf Club before it moved to neighbouring Championship Course at Gloria Golf Club, where fellow compatriot Rhys Davies won in 2015.

France’s Clément Sordet tasted glory at Gloria in 2016, while Ryan Evans secured his first Challenge Tour title 12 months later, before Joachim B. Hansen won his first title en route to ending the year as Challenge Tour Number One.

For the sixth edition of the event, the action will take place at Samsun Golf Club, which was home to the 2017 Deaflympics golf competition.
