The history of the Rolex Trophy

The longest running event on the Challenge Tour International Schedule, the Rolex Trophy returns for its 29thconsecutive year. The event consists of the top 39 players in the Rankings, plus one tournament invite, taking place at the historic Golf Club de Geneve in a Pro-Am format where one professional plays with three amateurs over four rounds.

Winning the Rolex Trophy goes a long way for European Tour graduation with each of the last five winners gaining their European Tour playing rights at the end of the season. Kim Koivu was the latest player to follow suit when he clinched his third win of a phenomenal campaign in 2018.
