The Hopps Open de Provence made its debut on the Challenge Tour International Schedule last year and the French crowd were able to cheer home a French winner as Romain Langasque sealed victory. The event will again take place at Golf International de Pont Royal – the only French golf course designed by the late Seve Ballesteros.
In 2018, Matt Ford set a course record of 60, 12 under par, on the same day Oliver Fisher carded the first ever round of 59 on the European Tour at the Portugal Masters.
