Oosthuizen claims second win in succession
Louis Oosthuizen completed back-to-back wins on the DP World Tour with a two-shot victory in Mauritius on Sunday.
The South African ended a five-year title wait for a victory at the Alfred Dunhill Championship on home soil but he now has two in a week.
His triumph in the Indian Ocean – an 11th on the DP World Tour – came at La Réserve Golf Links at Heritage Golf Club, a course he co-designed with Peter Matkovich.
Oosthuizen, the 2010 Open champion, began the final round with a one-shot lead but was two over through his first five holes before he recovered to card a three-under-par 69 and claim a two-shot victory over England’s Laurie Canter.
"I'm glad I could pull this off this week, it's sort of a dream come true being able to play a tournament on a golf course you helped design and end up winning it,” the 41-year-old said.
Min Woo Lee wins Opening Swing
The seventh edition of the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open marked the final event of the Opening Swing on the DP World Tour’s Race to Dubai.
The first of five innovative ‘Global Swings’ consisted of six tournaments, with Australia’s Min Woo Lee finishing top of the mini rankings.
Lee won the season-opening Fortinet Australian PGA Championship and then finished third at the ISPS HANDA Australian Open, with his points haul of 688 proving the best among DP World Tour members.*

As a result, the three-time DP World Tour winner earns US$200,000 from an $1million Bonus Pool that is split between the winner of each swing and a place in the second part of the DP World Tour season - the Back 9.
*Oosthuizen and Dean Burmester, who both won twice on the DP World Tour during the Opening Swing, are not members on the DP World Tour and therefore do not feature on the Opening Swing Rankings.

The last event of 2023 on the DP World Tour featured a host of eye-catching shots, including a hat-trick of chip ins which deserve particular mention.

Schaper shaping up well in debut season
As starts to the season go, Jayden Schaper will be pleased with his form heading into the festive break.
In his first season with full playing privileges on the DP World Tour, the 22-year-old South African made it four top tens in as many events.
A closing 69 helped Schaper to finish sixth at La Réserve Golf Links and climb two spots to sixth on both the Race to Dubai and Opening Swing rankings.
He will hope to enhance his burgeoning reputation when he returns to action next month in the Middle East, with the inaugural Dubai Invitational in January marking the start of the International Swing.
No missing Marcel
Playing at his home club of Heritage Golf Club, Marcel Siem was the subject of much support from those watching the action unfold.
While the German may not have shone the brightest, settling for a tie for 16th, he certainly brought some added colour with his flamboyant and floral clothing.
Having worn the design in India when he returned to the winner's circle on the DP World Tour in February, Siem opted to wear shorts in the matching style for the final round in Mauritius.
