Fancy taking on Henrik Stenson or coming from behind to beat Rory McIlroy in match-play? With the European Tour fan-game Your Race to Dubai you can. Played using the Golf GameBook iPhone app, it allows fans to challenge stars of the European Tour to a game of match-play.
Golfers use the app to challenge the stars of The European Tour to a game of match play, play a round of golf on any course and record their scores using the free Golf GameBook iPhone app. Once the European Tour tournament starts, the scores of the professionals will be automatically updated on the app, so fans watching tournament rounds will know whether they are up or down in their match play – all in real time. The app has been specially made to automatically adjust for amateur handicaps as well as the different courses being played by them as well as the tour pros.
This will be the second year the European Tour fan-game Your Race to Dubai, will be running having launched last year at the BMW PGA Championship.

How Your Race to Dubai works:
1. Using the Golf GameBook app, golfers challenge one of the nominated European Tour pros to a match play round.
2. The golfer plays an 18-hole round keeping score on the Golf GameBook live-scoring app. This needs to be done at least one day before the chosen pro’s tournament round.
3. Using the app on iPhone or iPad, the golfer can then follow the match unfold live, hole-by-hole, and share comments, score updates and results on social media.
