Tadini stretches lead in Moscow

Alessandro Tadini stormed into a four shot lead midway through his third round of the M2M Russian Challenge Cup at Tseleevo Golf and Polo Club as the Italian reached the turn in one under par in much tougher conditions at the Moscow venue.

Tadini, the overnight leader on eight under par, bogeyed the third hole to fall back early on but just as he was joined at the top on seven under by England’s Ben Parker, the four time European Challenge Tour winner birdied the seventh and eagled the eighth before a bogey left him four shots clear on nine under par.

Parker, meanwhile, reached the turn in two under par to move to seven under for the tournament, but bogeys at the 11th and 12th holes halted his progress and left him in tied second on five under.

He was alongside Mark Tullo of Chile, who reached the turn in one over par for the day after two bogeys and a birdie on the front nine.

In cold and windy conditions at the Jack-Nicklaus-designed course outside Moscow made for the highest day of scoring all week but Andreas Hartø carded the best round of the day with a three under par 69 taking the Dane to one under for the tournament.
