At the Betfred British Masters hosted by Danny Willett, we are committed to creating a sustainable event.
To help reduce our environmental impact we are:
- Providing multiple recycling bins around the course
- Ensuring all water provided to players by us is canned and recyclable
- Ensuring our on-course catering outlets use only wooden cutlery, paper straws, 100% biodegradable food trays and 100% compostable hot drink cups
- Ensuring all oil from our on-course catering outlets is recycled and ends up as electricity
- Ensuring our generators on-site are run on HVO Bio-fuel
- Using a soluble dosing cleaning system to help reduce the amount of single-use plastics
- Using a chemical-free cleaning method in our hospitality areas
- Ensuring all our branding is made from recyclable and sustainable materials
