One of the most visually stunning golf courses on the Challenge Tour International Schedule, Golf Blue Green de Pléneuf val André will host the Open de Pléneuf for the 13th consecutive year from September 5-8.
Located in the Brittany region of France on the picturesque western coastline, the golf course offers stunning views to players and fans alike.
A look at the 523 yard par five 11th hole says it all.
From an elevated tee deck, and with the prevailing wind coming in off the coast, players must start their tee shot somewhat towards the beach in order to find the fairway and have a chance of birdie by reaching the green in under regulation.
Past winners of the Open de Pléneuf include last year’s victor, Jack Singh Brar, who subsequently graduated to the European Tour by finishing sixth on the Rankings, and Eddie Pepperell, who famously was unable to pay his hotel bill before triumphing in the final round back in 2012.
