Steven Alderson will go in search of his third consecutive G4D Tour title when he tees it up on home soil as part of an elite field at the Australian All Abilities Championship (AAAC).
After back-to-back net victories in Spain and Dubai, Alderson – the first autistic winner in G4D Tour history – will have his eyes set on more success as he tees it up in an elite 12-strong field in Melbourne.
The Australian All Abilities Championship returns as part of the 2024 ISPS HANDA Australian Open, alongside the men's and women's Australian Opens.
Held at Kingston Heath Golf Club, seven of the top ten players in the World Ranking for Golfers with Disability will contest the opening event of the new G4D Tour season over 54 holes from Thursday to Saturday.
While Lachlan Wood, who became the first Australian to win the title last year, is unable to defend his title, the Australian contingent is bolstered by Wayne Perske, Cameron Pollard and Geoff Nicholas.

Making his first start at the AAAC, Simon Lee of Korea will be one of the favourites from the overseas contingent as the winner of the US Adaptive Open, while American Ryanne Jackson is the lone woman in the international field.
“We are thrilled by the quality of field that is headed to Melbourne to contest the Australian All Abilities Championship for 2024,” Head of Programs & Inclusion at Golf Australia Christian Hamilton said.
“Playing alongside the top players in the world is a great opportunity for our players, but they will impress everyone who gets the chance to see their amazing skills over the course of the tournament.
“I am certain we will have a very deserving winner yet again at the end of week.”
