Joël Stalter edged ahead as the third round of the KLM Open began at The Dutch.
The French rookie had held a one shot lead overnight, but was caught by Sweden’s Joakim Lagergren when the second round was completed on Saturday morning.
Stalter rolled in a 12 footer at the second and remained one under through four holes, his 11 under par total putting him one ahead of Thailand’s Kiradech Aphibarnrat.
Aphibarnrat holed a 15 footer on the fourth, while Lagergren bogeyed the second to drop into a tie of third on nuine under.
He was joined by Germany’s Sebastian Heisele, who pitched to within a foot of the third to set up a birdie.
Canada’s Austin Connelly was making the day’s big move, with five birdies in an outward 31 taking him to eight under and handing him a share of fifth with England’s Matt Wallace.
