Matthias Schwab opened up a two shot lead heading into the final nine holes of the BMW International Open as he went in search of a first European Tour win.
The Austrian already has three top tens so far this season and he turned in 33 at Golfclub München Eichenried to get to 15 under and lead the way from defending champion Matt Wallace, fellow Englishman Matthew Fitzpatrick and Italy's Andrea Pavan.

Wallace holed a 20 footer on the second to get within one and he was joined and quickly passed by Rafa Cabrera Bello who was making a surge.

A 15 foot putt on the seventh brought a birdie and he also made a gain on the next before he got on the par five ninth in two and two putts saw him turn in 30 and share the lead.

Ahead at the fifth, Wallace took on the driveable par four and found the greenside rough, getting up and down for a birdie and a share of second.
Pavan birdied the first before putting his approach at the fifth to tap-in range and taking advantage of the sixth, with Bezuidenhout also having a tap-in at the fifth and capitalising on the following par five.
Wallace was the next man to make the most of the sixth, getting up and down from the side of the green for a share of the lead.
Cabrera Bello could not achieve the same feat from the drop zone ahead at the 11th after finding the water and he slipped back into the group at 12 under.
Pavan continued his excellent run with a birdie from 11 feet on the par five ninth and a front nine of 32 put him in solo second as the rain began to fall.
The bogey on the 11th stalled Cabrera Bello's momentum and he three putted the next to fall three off the lead.
Schwab put his tee shot to eight feet on the par three eighth to edge one ahead and a Wallace bogey on the ninth after putting his second into the penalty area meant there was a two shot swing.
Playing alongside Wallace, Fitzpatrick got on the green at the par five in two and made a first birdie of the day to join his playing partner and Pavan in second.
Olesen matched the lowest round of the week with a 65 that contained eight birdies and a bogey.
Bergamaschi was three under through 12 holes, while Shinkwin was four under through 13.
Edoardo Molinari was alongside Cabrera Bello four shots off the lead.
