Matias Sanchez will take his place in Stage Two qualifying in November alongside Australian countrymen Andre Lautee, Cooper Eccleston and Lucas Higgins as DP World Tour Qualifying School got under way for the 2023 season at Rosebud Country Club in Victoria.
Sanchez carded rounds of 70-69-69-72 to reach four under par for the week to lead by two ahead of Lautee. Eccleston and Higgins were one shot further back on one under par to make sure of progession.
All four qualifiers will now have direct access to the next stage of DP World Tour Qualifying School and the opportunity to earn their card for 2023.
The Second Stage of DP World Tour Qualifying School will be played across four venues in Spain from November 2-5.
