Rudimental rocked the Show Stage at the BMW PGA Championship as the London band rounded off a superb day of entertainment on and off the golf course at Wentworth Club.
After Rory McIlroy and Francesco Molinari set the pace on the West Course on day three of the Championship, more than 5,000 fans were treated to a rousing 90 minute DJ set from the band in the Championship village.
Rudimental topped the UK charts earlier this year with the single These Days and the band’s DJ and frontman Leon Rolle, aka Locksmith, certainly proved a hit with the fans at Wentworth.

Golfing novice Locksmith visited the Surrey venue earlier this month to try some golfing trick shots with another fans’ favourite, European Tour professional Andrew ‘Beef’ Johnston, and he continued to break new ground on the Show Stage as the band made on their first UK outings of 2018.
Rudimental became the first drum and Bass to perform at Wentworth, following in the footsteps of the Kaiser Chiefs, Status Quo, Mike and the Mechanics and Tom Chaplin who have headlined the Show Stage in recent years.
Tonight, it is the turn of legendary Scottish rock band Simple Minds, who will delve into their back catalogue as they bring the curtain down on the 2018 BMW PGA Championship.
The bad, led by singer Jim Kerr, will perform on the Show Stage shortly after this year’s BMW PGA Champion is crowned.
