Per-Ulrik Johansson gained his fourth European Tour success following a final round of 67 to win by two strokes from fellow Swede Dennis Edlund and by three from Jay Townsend and Steve Webster. Both Johansson and Edlund started the final round one stroke behind leader Gary Emerson and it was Edlund who led going into the last nine holes. But Johansson swooped with two birdies and an eagle for an inward 32 to lift the title and the £108,330 first prize.
