Robert Allenby moved into the last round at five under par - one ahead of Pedro Linhart and five in front of Miguel Angel Martin and Costantino Rocca. Linhart faltered, as Allenby moved to seven under, but Martin, boosted by three birdies and an eagle in an outward 32, challenged. Allenby had three successive bogeys from the 11th, birdied the 14th but bogeyed the 16th so that Martin, with a birdie at the 17th, eventually tied. Allenby won the play-off at the first extra hole.
