Robert Allenby started the last round one ahead of Ross McFarlane and Andrew Oldcorn and two infront of Colin Montgomerie. Out in 32, Montgomerie had reached nine under to be one ahead of McFarlane, who turned in 34, and three infront of Allenby, out in 37. Montgomerie birdied the 16th to go ten under, but bogeyed the 18th. McFarlane was nine under after a birdie at the 12th; Allenby, who also birdied that hole, holed from six feet at the 15th and 15 feet at the 16th for more birdies and made another, as did Mcfarlane, at the long 17th. Allenby's two putt par at the last gave him victory against McFarlane's bogey.
