The Englishman, who also joins defending champion Rafa Cabrera Bello in the field, has enjoyed a stunning career that includes one major, three Ryder Cup victories, Olympic gold from the 2016 Rio Games and numerous significant titles from both the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR.

A competitive player during his time as an amateur, Rose’s natural talent produced career-defining moments amongst his peers. Rose captured the Carris and McGregor Trophies at the amateur level, and in 2002, he began to establish himself on the Tour, finishing atop the leaderboard at both the Dunhill Championship and the British Masters, a tournament he went on to host himself in 2018.

The 2013 U.S. Open Champion has 24 worldwide victories to his name including the 2007 Volvo Masters, which propelled him to be crowned European Number One that year, the 2012 WGC–Cadillac Championship, and the 2017 WGC–HSBC Champions. Rose also won the season long FedExCup in 2018.
