The Riegler & Partner Legends will be the Legends Tour’s first event in Europe from May 5-9, 2021.
The Austrian event marks the Legends Tour’s return to competitive action following the cancellation of the 2020 season due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Gerald Stangl, event organiser, said: “We can announce the date for the next year's Riegler & Partner Legends at Murhof. Especially in the current situation, positive news is particularly beneficial and the announcement of the date and the new partnership with Riegler & Partner is great news for Murhof, Frohnleiten, Styria and Austrian golf.
“The first appearance of the Legends in September 2019 had a huge response and especially under the umbrella of the new Legends Tour we are expecting an even more prominent starting field at Murhof in 2021.”
With Riegler & Partner a title sponsor could be found for the second edition of the tournament, who has been active in golf for some time.

In addition, we were already there as a partner at the premiere of the legends in Styria and we were completely enthusiastic about the response to the tournament.

“For us, this partnership is by no means limited to 2021, but it is very likely that we will also accompany the tournament in 2022 as namesake.”
