• His second European Tour International Schedule victory in his 51st European Tour event.

• Moves to €1,003, 991 in The Race to Dubai.

• Could move into the top 75 of the Official World Golf Ranking from 110th.

• His second victory of the 2014 season, following his maiden triumph at the 2014 Volvo China Open.

• Becomes the third multiple winner of the 2014 season. They are: Rory McIlroy (BMW PGA Championship. The 143rd Open Championship, WGC – Bridgestone Invitational and US PGA Championship), Miguel Angel Jiménez (Hong Kong Open (Dec 13) and Open de España) and Alexander Levy (Volvo China Open and Portugal Masters).

• Becomes the first Frenchman to record multiple European Tour victories in the same season.

• Becomes the first player since Bernd Wiesberger (2012 Ballantine’s Championship and 2012 Lyoness Open powered by Greenfinity), to win their first two European Tour titles in the same season.

• Aged 24 years and 72 days becomes the youngest Frenchman to record multiple European Tour victories, beating the previous record of Grégory Bourdy, when he won his second title, aged 25 years and 346 days in 2008 at the Estoril Open de Portugal.

• Should he win without dropping a shot in his third and final round, he becomes the first player to win a European Tour without recording a single bogey during a tournament since Jesper Parnevik (winner of the 1995 Volvo Scandinavian Masters). (The other only winner in European Tour history to achieve this feat was David J Russell (1992 Open de Lyon Trophée V33). (Parnevik and Russell were both 72 hole events).

• Victory comes in his first appearance in the Portugal Masters.

• Becomes the first player to win the Portugal Masters on their debut appearance since Tom Lewis (2011).

OTHER FACTS

• Becomes the first Frenchman to win the Portugal Masters.

• France becomes the fifth different country to win the Portugal Masters, following England, Spain, Australia and Ireland.

• Becomes the 32nd French victory in European Tour history.

• The second French victory of the season. Both of them have been won by Levy (Volvo China Open and Portugal Masters).

• Maintains his 100% record of winning both his European Tour titles when leading going into the final round. Led by three shots going into the final day in both the Volvo China Open and Portugal Masters. (Also shared the lead going into the final 18 holes at the 2013 BMW International Open, before finishing third).

• The 19th victory of the 2014 season where the final round leader has gone onto win.

• His second top ten finish of the season, both now have been victories.

• His second win as a professional.

• Becomes the 21st European Tour win of the 2014 season by a former Challenge Tour player. They are: Morten Ørum Madsen (South African Open Championship hosted by the City of Ekurhuleni), Thomas Björn (Nedbank Golf Challenge), Louis Oosthuizen (Volvo Golf Champions), Pablo Larrazábal (Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship), Stephen Gallacher (Omega Dubai Desert Classic), Ross Fisher (Tshwane Open), Marco Crespi (NH Collection Open), Alexander Levy (Volvo China Open and Portugal Masters), Felipe Aguilar (The Championship at Laguna National),  Daniel Brooks (Madeira Islands Open – Portugal – BPI), Mikael Lundberg (Lyoness Open powered by Greenfinity), Martin Kaymer (US Open Championship), Fabrizio Zanotti (BMW International Open), Justin Rose (Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open), David Horsey (M2M Russian Open), Marc Warren (Made in Denmark), Jamie Donaldson (D+D Real Czech Masters), Hennie Otto (71° OPEN D’ITALIA Presented by DAMIANI), Joost Luiten (ISPS Handa Wales Open) and Oliver Wilson (Alfred Dunhill Links Championship).
