After winning his fifth DP World Tour title at the age of 23, we look through the bag of Rasmus Højgaard.
Birdies at each of the last three holes helped the Dane chase down overnight leader Rory McIlroy and deny the four-time Major Champion victory on home soil at Royal County Down.
Højgaard is a Callaway staff player so it is no surprise to see the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond driver in his bag. It features in the bag of other high-profile players, including two-time Major winner Xander Schauffele.
He uses the 10.5˚ model, with the club known for its increased ball speed and low spin flight.
When it comes to his three wood, he also uses the Callaway, Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond U in the 15˚ model.
Earlier this summer, Højgaard played a Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Ti 340 Mini Driver at the Scottish Open & The Open along with his driver, but then switched into a 15˚ Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke TD U at the Danish Golf Championship and has kept that in the bag since.
Depending on course conditions, he switches between a 21˚ Callaway Apex UW fairway wood and a Callaway Apex Pro 24 three iron, opting to use the latter in Northern Ireland. He switched from using his Callaway Rogue ST Pro three iron to the new Callaway Apex Pro 24 three iron at the Porsche Singapore Classic in March.
He switched from his Callaway Apex MB 21 irons into Callaway X Forged 24 irons at the European Open, a move that has reaped rewards over recent weeks with three top 20s in his last three DP World Tour starts.
Of his five DP World Tour titles, this is his third where he has had a three iron in use.
Like several other players on the DP World Tour, Højgaard has four wedges, with the Callaway X Forged 24 for his pitching wedge and the Callaway Opus in the 52, 56 and 60 degrees of loft.
He completes his bag with an Odyssey Ai-ONE Milled Eight T DB putter, which now has a distinct marking. (see photo below)
Højgaard uses a 2024 Callaway Chrome Tour X ball.
