Rain holds up Levy title bid

Leader Alexander Levy was able to complete just a single hole before the weather intervened during the final round of the Portugal Masters at Oceånico Victoria Golf Club.

In a tournament already reduced to 54 holes by lightning and heavy rain earlier in the week, another deluge left parts of the course unplayable shortly after the final group had teed off at 1pm.

Levy, whose rounds of 63 and 61 saw him start the day an incredible 18 under, remained three ahead of Belgium’s Nicolas Colsaerts after both men parred the opening hole.

Chile’s Felipe Aguilar bogeyed the first and as a result was joined in third place on 12 under par by Romain Wattel and Mortem Ørum Madsen.
