Craig Howie secured his playing rights for the 2022 DP World Tour season following a 19th place finish on the Road to Mallorca Rankings.
The Scotsman had a fantastic start to the Challenge Tour season with three top 15 finishes during the South African Swing, including a tie for fifth place at the Limpopo Championship and tie for eighth at the Dimension Data Pro-Am. The 27-year-old followed this with an incredible display of front running to secure a seven-stroke victory and a maiden Challenge Tour title at the Range Servant Challenge by Hinton Golf.
Howie struggled for form thereafter but managed to record a top five finish at the B-NL Challenge Trophy and arrived at the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final supported by The R&A in 16th place on the Rankings. The Scotsman performed poorly at the season finale, carding a five over par final round of 76, but fortunately for Howie those below him in the Rankings could not capitalize.
The 27-year-old recorded two top ten finishes on the DP World Tour in 2020 and he will now return for the 2022 season looking to achieve further success.
