The third round of The Celtic Manor Wales Open was delayed by more than six hours after heavy overnight rain.
Around 35mm of rain fell on the Twenty Ten course at The Celtic Manor Resort - most of it in a three hour period during the night - and there was no play before 2pm.
The round had been due to get under way at 7.35am, but instead of all the players teeing off on the first hole a new draw was made and the field was split in half off the first and tenth tees.
Scotland's former US Amateur champion Richie Ramsay, a European Tour rookie, led at seven under par by one from English pair Ross Fisher and Robert Rock.
Ryder Cup captains Colin Montgomerie and Corey Pavin were four under and two over respectively, Pavin squeezing into the final 36 holes with nothing to spare.
