Thomas Pieters was still left wanting more after finishing in a tie for fourth on his debut at the Masters Tournament.
The Belgian has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the last two years, winning three European Tour events and making the 2016 Ryder Cup Team for the contest at Hazeltine National.
Pieters announced himself onto the world stage by winning a record four points as a rookie in Darren Clarke's side and his stock will now rise even further after finishing just four shots out of the play-off that was won by Sergio Garcia at Augusta National.
The 25 year old held a four-shot lead at one point on day one and a share of the 36-hole lead before dropping back with a disappointing 75 on Saturday.

A run of four birdies from the 12th reignited his challenge on Sunday afternoon and after proving he can handle the test of Augusta, he is hoping for better in the years to come.
"To finish better, maybe two, three better than this would be nice," he said.
"I'm happy with the way I fought back after yesterday, a poor round and a lot of bad swings, and today I put a lot of good swings on my ball and I'm still a bit disappointed with the way I finished.
"I had a good chance on 18, at 17, at 16 to make par, but just missed out. But I made plenty of birdies today and gave myself a lot of chances.
"It's just nice that I'm playing well."
