Peter Mitchell lit up the second round of the Pon Senior Open on Saturday morning after his perfect nine-iron approach to the par three seventh hole of the Winston Open course finding the bottom of the cup to win the Englishman a brand new Porsche Panamera.
Mitchell’s hole in one prize, worth almost €100,000, was on offer to the first professional to make an ace at the 155 yard par three.
The Panamera accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds, with a top speed of 261 km/h. Looks like Mr Mitchell could have some fun driving home to England via some of Germany’s unrestricted autobahns……
