Richie Ramsay is looking forward to taking his daughter to Royal Troon after securing his place in next week's Open Championship.
A closing 67 at Castle Stuart Golf Links earned the home favourite a tie for sixth at the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open and a place in the field on the Ayrshire coast along with Nicolas Colsaerts, Tyrrell Hatton and Matteo Manassero.
The chances of a home win in Inverness looked remote coming into the final day but Ramsay had a run of four birdies from the third - the highlight of which was a sensational 45-foot putt on the fourth - to surge up the leaderboard.
The three-time European Tour winner eventually finished three shots behind winner Alex Noren and was delighted with his week's work on home soil.
"I played to win today, which is a great feeling when you're in that position," he said. "Home pride, great golf course, striking it well, you can't get better than that.
"I just loved it out there. I really thought I had a good chance to win but I'm proud of finishing high.

Colsaerts' chances of making it to the Open looked remote at the turn but he went eagle-birdie-birdie-birdie from the 12th and added another birdie on the last.
The big-hitting Belgian made his Major Championship debut at Troon in 2004 as he missed the cut at 12 over, but he is a different player now and is delighted to be back on the biggest stage of all.

"I knew coming down the stretch, it was kind of looking like I needed to make four on the last just to make sure and lock the spot for next week.
"Troon was the first Open I played in and I didn't really particularly enjoy my first experience at the Open, but I was able to do that on a couple occasions after in the early 2010s.
"It's great, the crowds, I've always loved playing links golf. So it will be another chance to do it again."
Hatton birdied the last to finish second behind Noren and he will head to Troon looking to make the cut at the Open at the fifth attempt.
"Luckily a couple of shots dropped on the back nine and second outright is my best finish on the European Tour," he said.
"A spot in the Open next week, as well as securing the PGA Championship in a few weeks' time, as well. Overall, it's been a really good week."
Manassero is a four-time winner on Tour but the last of those came in 2013 and since then he has dropped to 596 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
So while a place at Troon is a huge bonus, the Italian is just happy to be competing towards the top of the leaderboard again.
"Right now it's a great relief from a lot of things and I'm glad that I handled myself really well in this week, which was not easy at all," he said. "It's a while since I've been in this position.
"This is a really good moment for me and all these struggles and hard work and stuff are obviously paying off and hopefully next time I'll be holding a trophy."
