Lucas Bjerregaardwill begin the defence of his Portugal Masters title alongsideSergio Garciaand Matt Wallace.
The Dane finished four clear of Marc Warren 12 months ago, laying claim to his first European Tour title. Bjerregaard will tee it up on Thursday at 08:30 alongside Wallace, a two-time winner on tour this season, and Garcia, who is part of the 12-man European team taking on the United States at The Ryder Cup next week.
Padraig Harrington will also be heading to Le Golf National as vice-captain to Thomas Bjørn, but first the 2016 Portugal Masters champion will play alongsideDanny Willett andWuAshunin Vilamoura. The trio's opening round begins at 13:40.
Thorbjørn Olesenis Team Europe's second playing representative in the field this week and he will warm up for The Ryder Cup in the company of EnglishmenPaul WaringandChris Wood, who finished runner-up at the KLM Open last week, at 13:30.
