On the Tee: At the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth

Thomas Pietersis the headline name in the field when the third edition of the ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth gets under way at the Lake Karrinyup Country Club.

The Belgian, who has three European Tour victories to his name, starred on debut during Europe's defeat to the United States in the 2016 Ryder Cup where he won four points including his Sunday Singles match against JB Holmes and will be seen as a contender for the unique event in Perth.

All 156 players will play 36 holes of stroke play before the field is trimmed to the top 65, with a further round of stroke play to reduce the number to 24.

The final round will be in a match play format to determine the winner and follow in the footsteps of home favourite Brett Rumford and Thailand's Kiradech Aphibarnrat.
