The luxury watch manufacturers will remain as title sponsors of the €2.1million tournament until at least 2017, so extending a partnership which began in 2001.

Omega President, Stephen Urquhart, said: “We are proud to sponsor such an esteemed and important tournament, and all of us at Omega look forward to having top players from around the world play golf in our beautiful home country. Omega’s continued role as title sponsor of the European Masters further establishes our brand as a driving force in golf, which is also supported by our partnership with the PGA of America and the forthcoming Ryder Cup in the United States.”

The tournament, steeped in history and tradition, is one of the leading events in the Swiss sporting calendar, and is co-sanctioned by both The European and Asian Tours. Omega’s support has helped the organisers pursue their goal of attracting even more of the world’s leading golfers to the Alpine village of Crans-Montana.
